What size SD card for new superb

The manual does not specify the maximum SD card size. 32GB works fine in my Columbus. I believe other forum members have reported success with larger capacity SD cards.

I am using 2x 64GB Sandisk high speed SDXC. I think it will use up to the current 256GB versions and no doubt larger as the format increases its capacity - though they might be a tad pricy for now.

I am happily using a Lexar 256gb 1000x in my 280 L&K Columbus.

Anyone experience of the slightly more usual Amundsen.....? ;-)

Have a look in the manual. If it says 'SDXC' in the compatible cards listed then the same rules apply as to the Columbus. If only SDHC then I think 32GB is the max.

Happy to be corrected though.

For information Sandisk are releasing an 'Automotive' version of the SDHC & SDXC memory cards sometime next month. These cards have a -40°C to +70°C temperature spec and anti-shock tech built in so cards can be left in cars without cooking. Ideal for dashcams and ICE systems. I gave not seen any on line yet so can't tell what prices and capacities are to be offered.
