Yeah, my company car but I pay the taxes :):)  Love it exactly as it is don't want to change it one bit although a new car will be due in November so I'll be pushing for another vRS, this time with a diff ;) and the 230 model, perhaps yellow :)

Michaelaa....do you work for Revo by any chance? :-)

410hp...I bet that thing is evil! Who needs a Golf R400 when you have one of these hey?!

Yeah :)

I imagine that traction under full-throttle will be okay from 4th gear onwards, so long as roads are dry tarmac and tires are grippy. Some restraint will be needed within the earlier gears, even with a VAQ-diff equipped (Golf PP, VRS 230, Leon Cupra) car. If only the VRS TSI had a 4WD option...

Yellow not an option on the 230, you'll have to wrap it!

Also read this and been watching it on Youtube.........would like to have something like this myself. Impressive for sure.

...... perhaps yellow :)

Good choice :sun:

Did we meet at the JKM rolling road day in Portsmouth at the end of October? If it wasn't this vRS it was one very much like it  B)

Yes I came down to JKM that day, could only stay a few hours though.

Great modifications, I think ~300hp would be enough for me, there is nothing worse than trying to launch fwd car and looking at front tyres just waste power..

Lovely looking thing too - a fine wheel choice

First set of aftermarket wheels on an Octavia I've seen that actually look nice

Thanks for that, I couldn't get it to share from my phone.

Have to say I'm impressed by it.

So what happens to it when it gets replaced? Back to standard?

Yeah back to standard, hopefully the day before

Michaelaa where does the rev limit sit now, 7.2k 7.5k?

Stock by in large. Sports is slightly higher rest are on or below stock rev limit.  Power is tailing off past then so no point in revving it to infinity and beyond.

"..the chassis and traction control do an admirable job handling the demands placed on them, helped no doubt by Revo's suspension upgrades. It is hard to subjectively quantify just how fast this car is, especially given the usual 0-60mph benchmark doesn't really flatter it.

A more suitable metric is, perhaps, the 100-200kmh acceleration test, which it absolutely blitzes. In testing Revo has recorded it completing this in around nine seconds, which is on a par with a Lamborghini Gallardo Superleggera. OK, the Lamborghini is somewhat more glamorous and exotic, but it clearly couldn't carry an entire family in comfort or swallow a boot full of garden waste for the weekend tip run."

Sure cheers Michael sounds good.

So what are the supporting mods again, Golf R turbo, intake, downpipe and exhaust?
