How do I do this

Have a look in the search bar.

Have you checked the fuse?

this is on my to do list, as mine sounds like a dieing duck, funny when im ****ed off with a driver, i forget and quack at them... that will show them..

Easy enough job, if a little fiddly. Remove the bumper - there are screws in each wheel arch and across the bottom of the bumper, and some push-through plastic rivets. You'll probably have a much easier time if you can jack the front up a metre. Once the bumper is off (you can leave the fog lights attached as it foesnt need to go off fully), the horn(s) is right there. Each horn is attached to a bracket by one nut, and the wire connectors can be freed by hand or with a carefully placed flat blade. Swap for new ones, reassemble.

But can you suggest a LOUDER horn :P

There are universal ones on the bay, no idea if they would work

Yeah should work fine and mount easily, although you'll need to chop off the factory Skoda connector on the loom, and wire your own generic spade connectors.

Current fuse is 20A, obviously it's relay driven so any increase would only be on that circuit. I can't comment on whether the wiring will handle that horn as it says 20-30A, at the top end you'd need a bigger fuse and you'd be pulling 50% more current. Even at 20A, you're on the limit. That being said, horns obviously are usually deployed momentarily, and you'd get your message across quickly with that. Worth risking melting your insulation? Your call

Point taken, i presumed it was a copy of the Stebel Nautilus, that is 20amp. Guess i will have to buy a genuine :P

With respect if you don't feel your current horn is loud/big enough, a motorcycle horn won't improve the situation much - they're nearly always high pitched and sound naff. Is it worth trying to get one off a scrapped Octavia or something? I've no idea about compatibility though.

sorry i disagree, you can search Stebel Nautilus and fabia if you wish, you can also check how much a used fabia horn is on ebay, then you could also check that not all fabias have a twin tone horn as standard and already sound like a scooter.

I know; my own is a pretty sickly single tone horn but most motorcycle ones I've heard are awful too. Hence why I suggested looking at an Octavia horn, see if that would be better.

What im suggesting is not a regular bike horn, that you are likly to hear.

There is a example :

Done mine now. Bumper off I'm afraid but really easy but goes back perfectly.

Watch out for the top screw under the wheel arch it has to screw through the bumper plastic first or the bumper sticked out a bit.

How about an electronic one. i've wondered about one of the telephone sirens which give out 100dba and will give out a decent noise on a 9v battery. Something like the bedlam tone caller, designed to be mounted externally.
