Citigo Monte Carlo spec help

Featured Replies

Hi all

have just brought a second hand Monte Carlo 15 reg and would like to clarify that PID entertainment system comes as standard. As the car dealer try to say that it was not standard on the 2014/15 reg Monte Carlo

Thanks for the help again guys

PS really looking forward to getting behind the wheel of my new baby

Yup it's always been standard on all Montes, he just doesn't wanna give you one!!

Tell him he's a knob - the PID has been standard fit on the Monte Carlo from Day 1.

Not sure where you'd stand on that point, the dealership can choose to argue it's standard on a new model, which this isn't, if he kicks up a fuss and you don't get anywhere you can pick secondhand ones up for £100 onwards

The Monte would have been supplied originally with a PID so it should be there on a year old s/h vehicle even if not on display on the forecourt due to theft issues. You wouldn't expect an upmarket model to have a hole in the dash where the sat nav should be which is effectively what is happening here.

is MPG trip computer come in as standard?

no, it's on the PID anyway. You get MPG trip on the dash etc if you have cruise control

It's part of the convenience pack I think? Love how Skoda mess around with car specs! My Sport had the trip1/2 in the dash as standard!
