Octavia II Facelift 09-12 - abs plastic eyebrows SPORT

Featured Replies

I have them fitted to mine mate and have been colour matched to race Blue. Tbh, they are a doddle to fit.

As long as you use a strong double sided sticky adhesive (not sure what was used by the fitment place but said it was proper strong) you'll be fine.

Some people can't stand them but I personally think it enhances the look of the FL and makes it look more aggressive.

Ive got the agressor style, i think they suit it quite well, just makes the head lamp look more sleek.

Easy to fit, but i had to use stronger tape than that supplied with them.

Getting mine sprayed up at the minute, got mine off ebay..

I bought from superskoda, as i know people have got them in the past, and fitment has been good.

Can you guys that have had them fitted share some pics? The ones on Super Skoda are so small and I want to make a decision on them :-)

Cheers guys. I'll get some 3M double side adhesive tape something that'll withstand a lot of rain and wind loading.

Yeah i think so too, much more agressive looking.

Need to make it stand out from all the Taxi's haha.

Didnt see a single vRS till i bought mine!.

car front ends are getting sleeker, thats what im going for, colour code the front grille surround next!

Very nice VelocityVinnie. I see you have the recent addition of the Superskoda Honeycomb grille and the cut out to go with. The car deffo looks much more aggressive and improves the front end in a big way. Who'd think just a set of stuck on eyebrows would transform the car?

I would get the grille colour coded yes. When I get a good pic of the motor (mucky as hell), I'll post a pic it looks so much better and gets some looks out of pure curiosity as the front is de badged.

cheers

Yeah grille was first thing i purchased, bought it before i took delivery of car ha

Got the newer wheel centres aswel ;)

Just need to swap the front and rear emblems.

cars coming on nice now, just spent a fortune this month on lowering it, changing all the exhaust, including new 200 Cel, and downpipe, and had it stage 2 mapped by shark.

Im now looking at brakes, and got a stage two induction pipe, and PCV, catch can plate on order from the states.

It never ends! this is meant to be my daily?? hahaha

My Modified show car is sat on drive crying as i type!!

But agreed little things like the grille, and brows make such a difference.

Doesn't that obstruct the headlight main beam?

Does anyone actually use main beam these days?

Of course they do...

Certainly looks like it would cut off a good amount of the beam - any MOT issues?

Nope doesnt make any difference to light pattern.

Oh yeah, I forgot, there is of course the need to flash people out at junctions. :D

We don't all live in cities. Living in a rural area I use main beam at some point on all my night-time journeys. However, I agree I can drive hundreds of miles on motorways and never get the opportunity to use main beam - always a car in front or approaching on opposite carriageway.

To Anddenton who suggested using main beam to flash people out at junctions; I say read the Highway Code. Flashed headlamps mean only one thing - I am here. Any other meant meaning is ripe for a misunderstanding.

And I drive on unlit country roads around the peak districk and pennines on a daily basis but never really see the need to use main beam, I guess the headlights on the Octavia are particularly good.

I hope you keep your speed down to that at which you can react and stop in the distance you can see. I would hate to hear that you had a collision due to not using a facility that the car manufacturer thought essential.

Absolutely, and I wouldn't use putting main beam on as an excuse to put my foot down either.

Good answer, although I'm not sure I totally believe you.

Looking at putting a honeycomb grill in from superskoda. Which vRS badge did you go for, a glue on or one of the bolt through ones?

Cheers

Its a bolt on one.

You have to cut the studs down though, as they are really long
