Irrational cooling ( overcooling ) Skoda Superb 2.0 DSG

Featured Replies

Hi I wondered if anyone could help . I have a Skoda superb 2.0 l diesel DSG with 101000 miles on it . I recently had trouble with the engine taking ages to warm up and cooling down to 50 when in traffic . Skoda have had it for three days and didn't know what to do . My local mechanic changed the thermostat and this made no difference . I have been searching the Internet and think it may be DSG related . Any other ideas much appreciated . Many thanks , Paul

Are the fans running all the time? I would have said thermostat stuck open but obviously not if its been changed, it could be faulty coolant temp sensor too, cheap to try
