Rear arm rest cover

Featured Replies

Can anyone point me to a protective slip over cover for the rear arm rest please. I need to carry lots of items in the boot and the leather arm rest folded up is exposed to damage - poor design!

Do you mean the central rear seat back?

When that seat is folded up it against the cubby box, so can't see how it is at risk.

If not, I don't follow.

Can you get a photo?

Sorry I explained badly. I meant the middle seat is in the normal up position as if someone was sitting on it. The reverse side that can be used as an arm rest is then on the boot side

Some have cut a piece of stiffish carpet to cover the back of all 3 seats, it then hides the hole to the boot when being used as an armrest.

If I was carrying much stuff I'd get one of these and as said provide additional protection behind the seats. Had one in my A6 estate (sorry, Avant!) and it was really good.

Not bothering with the Yeti as once I get a tow bar fitted I can use my trailer again.

Do a quick search of my posts. See one I prepared earlier

Found we had a waterproof rucksack cover with elasticated edge. With some under-felt same size as the arm rest inside, this does a great job. Problem solved.
