Are my Breathers blocked how do I check or is this normal? Sludging in Sump?

Changed oil and filter today. (2006 vrs 2.0 Fsi Turbo) 74k service history etc

When I removed sump plug oil trickled out very slowly? Thought something blocking sump hole, Removed oil filler cap and normal flow rate!

Do these suffer with sump sludging issues like 1.8t in the Golf mk4s?

No running issues drives well with no flat spots/no engine warning lights etc.

The oil should be hot when you change the oil.  You should also have the filler cap removed. 

 

You probably do have some sludging.  What oil change intervals are you on?  What type of oil are you using?

10k or once a year,

Think previous owner used Castrol fully sinthetic I have gone for Longlife 3 as recommended from Tps.

And oil wasn't that hot when I drained it, so probably didn't help.

Drain when hot and filler cap removed to aid draining.  The heat will make it thinner and less 'syrupy' and the air can get in to prevent a vacuum effect when the cap is removed.
