SONY Smartphone Cradle Receiver - XSP-N1BT - Parking Sensors?

Dear friends,

I am thinking to buy this SONY Smartphone Cradle Receiver - XSP-N1BT: http://www.sony.co.uk/electronics/in-car-receivers-players/xsp-n1bt

I am using my Samsung S5 phone all the time for navigation, listening to music and podcasts.

I have the stock Skoda Stream with a hack of Logitech Bluetooth Receiver for audio playback which I piggybacked from a fuse.

In any case it seems I would loose the parking sensors?

Does anyone know if that's the case?

Brake wobble - curious situation

Since I’ve had my superb it’s had a bit of a brake wobble under hard braking, especially on ACC. Couldn’t feel it through the steering and assumed it was rear discs as ACC uses the rears preferentially. Was planning on getting them changed at the next service. And then with discovering that carscanner is able to put them in service mode, I was planning on changing them myself once payday comes around. Generally, i dont like to be one of those people to open up another topic that has been exhausted time and time again, but after extensive research, i really am struggling to find a forum response that matches fully with my issue. 9 weeks and 11500 miles in, just had to put 1ltr of (expensive!) oil in to bring the level back up (1.5 hybrid) mostly motorway miles and always allowed to warm up from new, anyone else needed to top up ? Not had to do it on any of the other new cars i’ve had over the last few years.

Hi OTA of System Updates does not work in my car. Does anyone know if there exists a TPI to solve that? For example an update of the firmware of the OTA module. I know there is at least one System update available for my car (confirmed by Skoda), the update of the infotainment software to v1985, but there are no notifications showing up for it and the list in the infotainment showing available updates is empty. Which Octavia Scout would you choose?

I'm looking at buying an Octavia scout. One is a 2010 model costing £5500 with nearly 100k miles on the clock. It's very tidy and straight. The other is an ex NHS doctor car on a 19 plate with 46k miles on the clock costing £9999. As it has been effectively an emergency car, it has a few holes in panels where a radio has been and other holes in the boot panels for heaven knows what. Which one would you buy? I think I'm going to toss a coin.
