Im looking to get a Piggy back/add a fuse thingy (well two) for two dash cams that I intend to wire in to the car, so I can make it a "switched live" setup

 

Does any one know which one I should get?

Depends on which size fuse you require.

Mini fuse I used was this one:

Truth is.. Im not sure what one I require (I believe you can use both sizes) You can also get it in 2 amp, all the way to 20 amp. Should I just go for 20 amp?

You should use the correct fuse for the wire/current draw of the device. If you just whack a too higher fuse in the it's pointless as the wiring would burn out before the fuse as its not the weakest link.

Sorry I didnt see this. I'm not sure how much current the Mobius even carries tbh

I would suggest a 2 or 2.5amp fuse to protect the wiring for the dashcam

Remember to keep the fuse you have connected the tap into and put it in the rear socket on the tap, the front socket will protect the dashcam

General thinking is the fuse that protects the 12v socket is the correct amperage to also protect your cam.

If you get the mini fuse tap then use the 2nd fuse in from the right on the bottom row, this is a switched live
