I have just booked a 24hr test drive in a new Octavia vRS, in top spec, 18" alloys, dual zone climate, and whatever else is on the options list. Fully specced, the retail is estimated to give some change from 19k. Just have to wait for one to arrive now, early to mid Jan. Be assured that a full review will be written and accompanied by photographs. Unless anybody gets one any earlier. Or I could just say i've driven one, and be very vague about the details.

I was going to pop some in the jumbo box to see if I could smell them in the morning. Got to test the integrity of the seals.

road tested new vrs today abit disapointed with the outside styling. also the silver dash trims would have looked better if they were carbon fiber. as for the performance i was pleased lots of pull and handles great. would like to see the new blue color as it looks good on the flyer. anybody wanna roadtest the new vrs they have one at autosales bilston.

Anyone have a test drive booked next Mon or Tue (and is close to a major airport?), I'd nearly fly over if I got a cheap flight as it'll be next Xmas before we get to see one in Ireland at the rate they are going .

I think some of us would be more than happy to return to our MK1 RS'.

Spoke to Mitchells again today -- they still have absolutely no idea when there demo is going to arrive!!
