anyone any experience with new Ebay locks, ive seen some listed as 3B1, but the 1 indicates its for LHD and not RHD

door still hasnt opened so its looking like im gonna have to smash it up

 

do i basically take the carrier off, and just hammer/chisel/drill etc until its destroyed and the door opens ?

 

any tips ?

just to update this and thanks for the help, ive now fitted a brand new genuine lock from TPS, seems to be working perfectly

 

if this ever happens again i wont be buying a used one off Ebay !!!

 

took the carrier off, banged it a lot with a small hammer while my dad tried the handle from the outside, eventually it came open, it did take quite a few hard hits
