Superskoda Honeycomb vRS boot liner

Featured Replies

Had my order through from Superskoda today and it seems I ordered two of these vRS honeycomb estate boot liners in error - on the invoice as qty 2. Before I attempt to send it back, would anyone be interested? Cost me just under £40 with the carriage?

Cheers.

So mine arrived from super skoda and i put it in this morning. Pretty underwhelmed to be honest. I was expecting a fairly thick rubber mat. Sadly not; it's pretty thin and arrived rolled up the wrong way so it turns at the corners. The fit is so bad that i'm actually wondering if i have the right one. Trouble is, given the size and the fact it's come from cz, returning it is not economically viable.

Anyone else have this fitment issue?

Have one in my combi, fitting is ok but not perfect. And yes annoying they rolled it sort of the wrong way so i took ages to lay down.

Re Roll it the other way and leave it like that for a few days.

Skoda do a few different types, made from thick rubber, they fit the boot perfectly, mm perfect.

I have the rezaw plast one off of EBay, very good for just over £30.

I got the standard rubber mat (5E9061160 I think) for mine from Skodadop and I was pleasantly surprised at the weight/quality of it; nice and sturdy and no corners sticking up. Fits perfect in my non-VRS combi.

Is the honeycomb one a genuine Skoda part?

Skodadop rubber mat is very good quality thick rubber and lays flat in my MK2 - still waiting for my new MK3 for which it was intended.

+1. I got mine from Carzone.one (part of skodadop) and the mat is very heavy and sturdy, packaged brand new in genuine Skoda wrapping. No complaints whatsoever

I got the standard octavia one from super skoda. Am very happy with it and even though it was rolled the weight of it meant it folded out pretty quickly.

I thought about the vrs honeycomb one but as I was getting the rubber floor mats thought I would just get them all to match. (I and it didn't look like the honeycomb was "official")

I rolled mine the reverse way and left for a few days, tied up. This did the trick. Fit is not exact on mine, but it's near enough and now it's been a few months I have no issues with it at all as my boot is constantly full of stuff. Yes it would be better if it had a raised "edge" but as is, it's still a decent addition for preserving your boot carpet. Especially when chucking scooters and bikes in the boot.

Thanks for the replies. I did have mine reverse rolled for 3 days. It did make a difference but still turns up.

I thought this was an oe skoda one but i could be mistaken. I'll have to take some pics, as i think the fit is pretty hopeless - it's too wide across the back of the seats by about 1", and has two redundant cut outs

It does lay down flat after a while. I also used the netting to keep it down to start with.

Not the best, but looks different and was worth its money when I took some food for everyone at work and it leaked out of the tray (thai curry everywhere). Thankfully with the raised lip it stayed on the rubber mat
