2012 octavia VRS black front grille

Featured Replies

hi.

new to all of this and need a bit of help.

i recently got the keys for a 62 reg octavia vrs in black. i have had the wheels painted black to match the rest of the car and the only thing that really bugs me about the car now is the chrome front grille.

I have had a quote of £75 to get it wrapped gloss black which seams reasonable??

i was wondering if there is anywhere online i can get a gloss black or even matt black grille or grille surround as i cant find one anywhere.

any advice would be brilliant

 cheers guys!!

Get some black plastidip off ebay and spray it black. Masking tape some newspaper etc.

is there anything that would make it gloss black?

id prefer to just buy a new gloss black grille of the internet but finding one is impossible

Superskoda do black grilles but not gloss AFAIR

I painted mine, spend ages prepping sanding etc, but the paint still chipped quite easily!

Getting it wrapped now......

There is a company called peelable paint that might be worth a go? It's a proper colour coded wrap.

Yeah the superskoda ones are the official black pack ones in black magic paint. They are gloss.

Superskoda are quite pricey so check your dealer and skodadop
