coolant temp light

Featured Replies

Hi

Just had cambelt changed and water pump along with a full service, mot, tyres, the full mashings.

A few day after getting the car back I have an airbag fault and a coolant temp fault. The temp gauge takes around 5/10 mins to get upto 90 deg. on a local stop start dive. The floor directed fan seems a bit weak and not overly warm.

Once the car gets upto temp, I stop and then start the car again and the light goes off.

I have checked coolant level and it seems ok.

Does any one have any suggestions on the Airbag and coolant fault before going back to my garage.

I am a bit pessamistic about VAG motors and their faults, my last motor a Passat and that was a PITA with EPC light.

Cheers

Simon
