I've been for the last few years and enjoyed it, so will probably do it again. It was extremely popular last year, so will have to remember to try to get there early. It might be easier to do it this year as the clocks change that day.

For those fortunate to not be on Facebook more details please, sounds like a canny run out and breakfast too. Thanks

Quote from the Facebook event: -

"It is that time of year again, the first big run out of the year; the Yorkshire Big Breakfast at Specialist Cars of Malton.

Easter Sunday, 27th March 2016, will see thousands of drivers meet at Malton from 8.30am for a bacon sandwich and a chance to look at some of the finest metal in the North of England.

Now in its 9th year the Yorkshire Big Breakfast has grown to become one of the North's premier multi-marque car events with every kind of sports and classic car in attendance. We've had over 4000 people attend the last events and this promises to be even bigger.

As always everyone is welcome, no matter what you drive (or ride, motorbikes are of course welcome), please pass this invite on to your car clubs, owners clubs, friends and colleagues, it is the mix of makes and models that makes this event so exciting.

As you can imagine due to the scale of the Big Breakfast we have a hefty police presence to ensure the event remains a fun, safe and enjoyable family day out. We hope everyone will help us to keep the continued running of the Yorkshire Big Breakfast viable by driving sensibly and enjoying themselves responsibly. The police usually put speed camera vans on the approaches so keep an eye out.

Please follow the directions of our marshals whose job it is to keep traffic flowing and maintain access to some of the businesses on the estate who are working and need to have vehicles come in and out. To this end some areas of the estate will be no parking, signed by cones, please respect these cones to make sure we don't upset our neighbours and can continue to run the event. As on previous occasions we're implementing the one way system around the estate from York Road, joining at the North East (Malton side) and leaving at the South West (A64 side).

Once again we have laid on extra parking just off the main B1248 York Road, a 2 minute walk to our workshops. This car parking will be used for overflow purposes but please feel free to park there if you'd prefer.

See you then!"

Actually, the clocks go forward, so you loose 1 hour in bed. You have to get up extra early.

Watch your speed peeps if you go. Heavy presence in the vicinity and feeder roads.

I did enjoy the speed awareness course though.

Cannot make this one but its always worth a run out to.
