Hi guys, I saw a clip on the radiator fan blade on my 02 Octavia 4x4, I presume I can take it off? Or is it there for balance or sensing lol?

It does seem deliberate, balancing makes sense, thanks.

If it aint broke don't fix it. Maybe observe the fan while it's spinning and see if it is vibrating, if not leave it alone, if it is vibrating then mark the position of the clip, remove and watch again.
