Fitting a Towbar to a Lease Car

Featured Replies

Hi there,

We fitted a fixed Westfalia tow bar to our leased Yeti (VWFS) last summer. Fully integrated with CANBUS and fitted by the independent towing specialist that our dealer uses for their 'own' bars. Cost a little over £400 and looks neat - plus it's much cheaper than the equivalent detachable system.

Good luck with yours.

Morning from Devon.

Could I be so rude as to ask where you had your tow bar fitted? Many thanks.

Hi Roger,

We had our tow bar fitted by Tamar Towing Company who fit all of the Skoda dealer supplied bars for Murray Skoda in Plymouth. We've used them for the last decade for multiple cars and trailers and they're great!

Hope this helps,

Matt

Thanks for that Matt. Just booked my Scout in with PC tow bars, who are also based in Plymouth. Fully wired and coded detachable, for £465. They do the work for Murray Skoda up here in Newton Abbot.

Thanks again. Roger.
