  1. A long shot, but when I had my Octavia estate serviced last year my dash lit up like a Christmas tree, turned out, the main dealer had pinch the wire leading to outside temperature sensor when replacing the underbody protection. They repaired the cable, everything was then OK.
  2. I can second that, my 2019 FL does not have control unit 20, so no can do!!
  3. I took mine to Carrs Exeter, never again, never been treated so badly by a garage in my life. In the end, they admitted they were wrong, but never even apologised for costing me a whole wasted day, to put right what they f@@ked up. Was told lies left right and centre!!
  4. Noticed this too, good job I have 5841 points saved up!! Someone on an Audi forum has said, not only have they stopped the free credits, the price to buy them has shot up too!
  5. Just had four Goodyear EfficientGrip Performance 2 fitted for around £390 from Black circle, all in price and they seem great.
  6. I have mine set to fold/unfold when the car is locked/unlocked with the key fob. On about two/three occasions in three years, they have not unfolded when unlocking, so have had to do it with the mirror button on front door. Always both, not one like yours!
  7. All fixed!! They had trapped a cable that leads to said sensor when refitting the underbody protection after the service, no apology from them, but at least they admitted it was their f@@k up!!!
  8. They tell me it's ambient air temperature sensor that is showing up as a fault, the boss at the dealership is telling me to book the car in again, so they can see what caused it. Anyone know how many of these sensors the car has, they told me that I need four!!!
  9. Just checked the mileage, and guess what, the answer was zero miles! Think I have proved they are lying to me! Thanks for pointing that out. I have asked for the dealer principles contact details and also asking to be told the full name of the said sensors. Still waiting to hear back.
  10. They changed the Haldex oil, £85, when I asked if they cleaned the filter off, the guy told me, they only do that if the oil looks dirty when they drain it!! This is all coming from a main dealer by the way!
  11. Both, they say it's the temperature sensors causing it, no problem with the car, until they had it.
  12. I have just discovered cracking between the tread on Pirelli tyres, this happened on my previous car too. Still good tread, but have to change as cracking again. Both times it has been the original Pirelli tyres that were fitted from new!
  13. Just picked my 2019 Octavia Scout up from it's second Variable service and the TPMS warning is on constantly!! On top of that, the Engine management light is also on permanently!! They told me that they all came on the road test, ran some checks on it and have said it needs four new sensors, (some sort of temperature sensors), behind the grill, at a cost of £258.86!!!!! When I returned home, the rear parking sensors are also not working. I am thinking they have jet washed the car and caused al this to happen. Any thoughts?
  14. My 2019 Scout came from Rainworth Skoda, delivered to Devon on back of a truck. Coming up to 33k on the original tyres and still plenty of tread on them, more so on the rear. Glad they were able to sort you out.
