Bad Clutch & Accelerator Vibrations.... Please Help

Featured Replies

Hi, having some issued with my VRS and on the brink of selling if i cant get it sorted. (couldn't see a running topic for this)
Bought a Fabia VRS back in 2014, completely standard, one owner from new and full service history etc. Last September the head gasket went along with the flywheel so decided to get them both done at the same time and foot the bill.
To cut a long story short, got the car back from the garage and was experiencing vibrations from both the clutch pedal and accelerator pedal, which where not there before.
This seems to be rev related and is very prominent at motorway speed, such so my foot goes numb after an hour or so of driving.
I took the car back to the garage a number of times complaining about the vibrations and at first they said there was no vibrations there and then acknowledged them and said it was completely normal.

8 month on an the pedal vibrations are still there and seem to be getting worse, engine mounts have been checked and are fine so am left unsure on what to do....

Symptoms are as follows:
- Vibration from clutch when engaging
- Vibration from accelerator pedal (seems to get worse as you go up the rev range)
- vibration from gearstick, very similar to that on the accelerator pedal
- sometimes when engaging the clutch, it seems to engage then there is some play and then engages fully.

Car is completely standard, no mods or remaps etc.

Has anyone else experienced this?

Any help or advice with be greatly appreciated.

Bottom gear box mount ( dogbone) and / or Dual mass flywheel.
