The world would be a very dull place if we were all the same!

yellotaxi, I used microfibre cloths, the stuff is dead easy to use and gives the car a great shine.

Have a look at socket2me.com it's the "deep crystal" system

How do you get SWMBO to help you clean the car??

Hello Spot

I don't think it's what you said, I think it was the bluntness with which you delivered it. A softer approach next time perhaps.

Hello 0072006

Why so aggressive? A comment/view that goes against the grain isn't necessarily "bad" and IMHO doesn't warrent being called a to55er.

Buy her a good xmas prezzy! ;)

as for the others. Keep it to the topic.

I'm not having a go but the reason for the post was to show off and rate meguiars products not to have a debate on if my car is rubbish or being devalued.

Spot your welcome to have your opinion if I had asked what do you think of my "front grill" or "nhs specs" then fair enough come back with that. It doesn't bother me.

Anyway no more slagging each off please - thank you

flatfourburble - so how long did it take to do all the 3 steps? I can imagine it took you a while to get that shine, I haven't waxed my car since I bought it lol :)

Hi Lance

Thank you for your concern but you may gain a better understanding about this member if you took a glance at his past posts. In my opinion he should be banned (hint hint moderators:) ), i'm just sticking up for the briskoda community who in all fairness has many decent members.

On topic, Mike, I took mine through a "Try our new car wash". Now there was a waste of time

Can you tell me where to buy tins of elbow grease please? It took ages bringing mine back up to par

Ta

Mo :)

All the hard work really does pay off....I've used the Quick Clay system on all my Skuds and been really impressed...it really does what it says on the tin!!...I got my Clay and Quick mist and Gold Class polish from Carnnoisseur

there there spot don't get all upset over this, keep to the topic please:)

flatfour: Is a very smart looking car. Is it still that clean now? Mine picks up dirt like you wouldnt believe, but I havent waxed it yet. Going to try waxing it to see if stays clean longer.

Got to say, and with no disrspect to flat4, this is far more entertaining than the original thread.

yes it is, though it's been parked on the drive at the moment due to me being off work sick. mental note dont wash and wax the car in the cold weather when you have a cold

Have to say the 3 step syetem is very good, still has a mirror finish :D

Mo, I'm not sure where you can get elbow grease but it was hard work to do the car, but as others have said the end result was worth it.

0072006, it took about 3-4 hours from wash to finish, but that was with 2 people me and my mrsus diamond lass that she is.

spot & 0072006 - The abuse between you two stops now your going off thread and both your posts have been deleted.

Now I'm off to specsavers :P

wtf why were they deleted???!! They were just opinions.

Let me read the rules again, need to see if your aloud to voice an opinion.

I can't say i remember seeing any personal abuse myself.
