I am now an owner of a new 2016 VRS estate, 230, with A DSG box, cant wait to pick it up, heated seats, leather, 19" alloys, car is in meteor grey with the black package,  going to be a fun dad car to say the least 

 

come from driving N/A Clio 197 cup brilliant handling however missed some low down grunt, so im hoping to cure that, i also have a classic mini pickup with a 1293 FIA spec Race engine in which i bring to Show and shines quite alot, track days and generally enjoy it, eventually i might put a tow bar on the VRS so that i can tow if to track days with slicks

plus my Revo dealer has said that they can remove the revo map if any warranty work is needed and the cars ecu will not flag up at TD1 (ECU tamper) signal and they will reprogram after for free as i have brought the software already has anyone had any experience with this ?

 

The car comes with smart gate not active, so i would like to know if i can activate it or take it to any dealer also read that you can code things slightly different i.e the mirror dips when reversing, activating both fog lights etc. any hints ant tips i need to know about with the car ? anything i should do? anything i should avoid,

I did a deal on a stock 230 Estate a couple of weeks ago. It is in the UK so just waiting on delivery and PDI

Mirror dips etc can all be coded by your friendly local VCDS expert, have a look at the VCDS threads for more details

Picking up my 230 next week, and also have future plans for a Stage 1 remap, plus filter and possibly more.
