Just for clarification, could someone post up the differences between and dates of introduction of the Octavia Bolero models, and how to identify which version is fitted if this is not blindingly obvious?

Mostly it is by the car manufacture date.

No way to really tell from the outside.

Someone will no doubt correct me, but I think all cars that were manufactured before May 2015 have the MIB1 (old Bolero) and the ones after that have the MIB2 (new Bolero)

Main outstanding difference is the ability to support Smartlink.

My (very limited as we don't collect until Saturday) is my15 was 5.8" screen, my16 is 6.5" screen. Other differences are just software upgrades.

We've purchased a mk3 pre-reg (65) vRS estate (meteor grey) and that has the second BOLERO with 6.5" screen.

Not sure if this is just Amundsen, but I believe MIB2 lose the the cd drive in favour of SD card reader. Also the larger screen. But I'd say look in the glovebox, if you have a CD drive, it's most likely MIB1.

Thanks chaps, that'll do. Car's late 2014, reg'd December, 64 plate. CD drive in the glovebox, so I reckon a MIB1.
