reduculously cheap on mytyres at the moment...

Featured Replies

There doesn't seem to have been much point in me calling MyTyres to get the real scoop on the situation - you all crack on with your phony orders!

Chill out. If it goes through then great, if not I'll get a refund. There's nothing to lose. If it does go through it will make the man maths on lighter wheels better.

Chucked an order in for a couple of £20 Barums this morning. If it works, it works, if it doesn't, I'm not over bothered either way.

Boooo!!!

:D  :D  :D

they havent taken anything off my card yet so watch this space...

OK...

The tyres were delivered today but mytyres have decided to take the full amount from my card despite the order having a price of 120.40 and the website showing 120.40.

Obviously the way the law works they cant just take 336.00 off my card so Ive just sent all the details to barclaycard dispute resolution and I'll let them deal with it.

I know,

Im well chuffed - 4 conti sport 3's for 120 quid - sure, not as good as the 5s i have on at the moment but for 30 pound a corner I honestly cant complain.  I picked it up from hotukdeals but thanks for posting on here as well.

just goes to show it was worth the effort, if at least one of us got a bargin! :)

Exactly. No one lost out and some one gained. That's win win. At least it was worth it in the end for somebody.

Wonder what caused the price error. I'm guessing a typo in a pricing layout which is why it affect some but not all tyres and sizes. If it works like our packaging systems in work, one layout can be shared between several products to save time in making new products. There's no point reinventing the wheel each time so they share. Great for widespread changes quickly but awful when only small things need changing on one product. Or in this case mass discounts
