Scraped courtesy car.

Featured Replies

Got a courtesy car from a third party insurer through enterprise after a non fault accident on my VRS.

Scraped it on another car while parallel parking.

Got out my car and checked damage. I have some paint transfer and the other cars mud flap has folded in the wheel arch. Also it had some paint transfer though it rubbed off and the mud flap just dropped back into place.

I left my details on the windscreen. It was late at night. I don't think the owners will want to claim on their insurance as its an old vehicle anyway.

My courtesy car may come out like new again with abit of T cut. I do pay £5.88 a day for something on the car which allows me to take the car back with just the steering wheel intact according to enterprise.

Any similar experiences?

Anybody know what that £5.88 is for exactly?

If it T cuts out on my car and the other party isn't interested in a few scratches to the bumper? Forget about it?

My car is in the garage for repairs for this exact thing albeit my car was a state. Unfortunately it's a notorious narrow street for damage. It doesn't help I'm crap at parking large vehicles in small gaps!

Somebody can delete this thread. T cut works wonders.

Doesn't it say in the paperwork you got from Enterprise?

Yeah it's something to do with damage waiver.

Didn't read into it till after I gave it rub with T cut. No evidence now anyway.

Just waiting on seeing the other car in the light.

Nobody's phoned me about their car yet.

Well done for leaving your details, people like you are a dying breed.

+1, my wife's old car was hit twice on our small avenue and both times no one left details. We know it will be from a certain house. On friday the mother from said house saw my wife scrape the neighbor's new car wing mirror with her new car (she can't drive :notme: ) so my wife got out and said I need to go and knock on to let her know, the mother reply was, just drive off she'll never know :envy:  Luckily the lady of the car said she'd scraped it herself a few days ago and was getting it sprayed anyway.
