Well the time has come to sell the old workhorse.

Been a very good car in the couple of years I have owned it and never had any issues.

Bit rough around the edges some rust blobs and scuffs interior the same with scuffs on the door cards etc.

This car been a workhorse/fishing bus. But practical and presentable.

Really needs a battery. It has a brand new huge leisure battery fitted but the end cell has a crack and leaked but starts fine and holds charge.

Metallic green with grey cloth in fair condition.

Usual elegance spec and everything seems to be working. (not sure about headlamp washers)

Electric windows, sunroof, dual zone climate ( nice and cold) etc.

O/S rear door lock not working on remote will need looking at.

No stereo and drivers connector has been chopped by previous keeper.

Suspension a bit soft.

O/S rear Caliper a bit sticky.

Bit of a whine when cold. Never checked it out poss aux belt/pulley.

Now the really good points.

124,000 miles with loads of history and bills.

Cam belt kit with water pump and coolant done 23/01/14 @ 121,000 miles.

Coil pack recall done 07/02/14

Very good engine and box pulls well and no smoke.

4x4 works as it should

4 good tryes

Towbar

Before I bought it looks like it had new discs and pads on the front as well as a new N249 valve fitted.

MOT until Sept but on a SORN.

Viewing and collection from Sheffield

It is what it is a rough and ready workhorse sold as runner or spares.

Price reduced to £500.

Sorry guys not been on for a bit as in the middle of fitting a new bathroom.

Daverave I have replied to your PM.

As for price I am open to near offers but I know what its worth in bits and I have the room to keep it and break it when I get time.

Any mot?

No MOT ran out last month.

Will need brakes looking at as been stood for a while now.

But starts first flick of the key.

Worth a lot more in parts so if not sold soon I will be breaking it.

Hi is this still for sale? Thanks

  • Author

Yes it is.

I have been busy fitting a new bathroom so not really done anything with it.
