Old deal vs new deal

Featured Replies

I ordered my VRS when it was the £1000 dealer contribution and 0% finance. Picking car up on Tuesday. Dealer (who made a mistake in the past but has been great since and remunerated me) phoned my up and said that is be better off on the new deal (£2000 dealer contribution and 2.something interest, and two free services - 10 000 and 20 000). He went through the figures and turned out Id be paying £3 more a month but the free services more than makes up for that.

So the question is: is my dealer being kind and genuinely trying to save me money or have I missed something? Figures look good to me - but what do you think?

And....has anyone else who ordered before April been offered this change?

Could be he's trying to make up figures at the start of the quarter.  He'll probably cancel the old sale and out it through as a new one from stock

The 10,000 and 20,000 mile services are both oil and filter changes only, so £139 each or £278 for them both.

How long is the finance deal for? £3 extra a month even for one of the longer terms (5 years) means that the new deal makes sense as it won't cost you more than the £278.

Worked out better for me. But I bought a 230 which was a higher Apr.
