Parking sensor plug

Featured Replies

Hi lads, my rear parking sensors started playing up recently. So I plugged in the vag.com and it pointed to a intermittent fault in one of the sensors. I checked out the sensor and it's actually the pin has broken in the plug itself, not the actual sensor.

My question is does anyone know where I can get one of these 3 pin connectors?

You should just be able to replace the pin rather than the entire connector.

Anyway, assuming this is correct http://www.partsbase.org/skoda/superb-sup-eu-2009-91950-parking-aid/

- 4F0 973 703 flat contact housing with; contact locking mechanism; possible single wire:; 3 pin; 000 979 034 E; 000 979 034 EA; 000 979 034 EC; 0,5; 0,5; 0,5

I'd probably speak to your local dealer or try [email protected]

Thanks Langers2k ur a star.

Took it a part and managed to solder the pin and jam the cable inside the connector. The connector is melted, the connection must have been making and breaking and melted the connector. But it's sorted now. I'll see how it goes for a while and if it breaks again I'll replace the connector.

Thanks again
