Problems pairing iPhone 6 to 2008 Superb with Columbus

Featured Replies

I have just purchased a 2008 Superb and cannot pair my iPhone 6 to the system. I have seen numerous relies about this but they are all around 5 years old. Is there an up to date solution anyone could share?

Search for Skoda BT on your phone when pairing, assuming that you do have BT module fitted.

Apparently you may need to update your Bluetooth module (if installed) - from 2011 they supported HFP which was what the iPhone's support.

I had the same problem..and i tried every thing...finaly i bought a bluetooth module from 2011 superb and its working just fine.the only problem is that you cant pair 2 phones simultaneous

The Bluetooth modules on 10 plate and earlier cars only use the rSAP protocol which the iPhone does not use. The iPhone uses the HFP protocol for Bluetooth. MY11 cars (so built after around July 2010) have a revised Bluetooth module that supports both protocols.

There is a pinned thread at the top of this section that explains what is needed to be done but it's not a difficult job as far as I understand it. Yes it is a few years old but the info is still the same. ;)

Thanks for the replies. Before I had chance to try anything the Columbus system crashed and is constantly restarting. Now waiting for it to be repaired under warranty before I can do anything.
