hi got monte carlo few week's ago wheel's like new it's only 2 years old ---- BUT BAKED ON BRAKE DUST ON THE  INSIDE --- :'(     tried iron x   no joy , what can i use with out damaging the clear coat on them please help thank's guy's ...

Are these the Standard Trinity Wheels as they left the factory, Greyish & not Black?

or have they been Painted and lacquered or Powder Coated since.

 

Do you mean the back of the wheels, & not the facing? (the inside.)

Best try and see what they are finished with and if it is Paint and clear Coat (Lacquer.)

 

Have you tried using T-Cut or rubbing compound on a small sample area?

You've let the iron x dwell? And used a detailing brush to work it in a bit.

Sometimes it it's really "baked on" it needs a few goes to shift. If it is brake dust that is.

yes is brake dust but bullet hard no joy removing it at all ...

Try a hard clay bar you will be surprised what they shift.

As a one off or very occasionall use wonder wheels is OK and probably most likely to shift it without any long term harm to the alloys.

I have used it after European Road tripping track days when the wheels can be horrendous.
