I seem to recall a few years back that when the rear engined Skodas were being rallied, the support teams just used to roll the car over on it's back to get to the underneath, much to the amusement of the press and other teams. I also recall that they used to go on to do very well! Does this ring any bells? It must have been the Lombard RAC as it was on TV and would have been about 12-15 years ago.

There was a Rapid for sale a few months back at one of the Skoda dealers in the Newcastle area , I cant remember which garage (maybe Barmoor Garage) but it was definatley in the North East autotrader back then...H reg Rapid , i think 27000 on the clock from new , 1 owner , poss was the injection model and was priced at 995 quid , burgandy i think it was...i take it that she was a minter as the dealer had put it in the Ad full of Octys and Fabias ect...so I suspect thats around top whack for a later rear engined car...me I want an earlier rapid variant..an S110R , I love them , and wouldnt mind a silver one to match my RS!...any out there needing a good home??
