I think mine has erm, died.

It just doesn't seem to have power, no matter what I plug in, be in actual lighter thingy, battery charger or laptop, it doesn't want to know.

Any ideas?

Check the fuses

IIRC they are located on the panel facing the drivers door at leg level on the outside of the dash.

I blew the fuse on mine when checking the voltage with a multimeter

could well be the fact that you have the rear window lock on, on the drivers electric window control panel ? this will stop the rear windows operating via the rear switches it also cuts the cigar lighter off ! .

Didn't know that. I have a mere Comfort though.

It was the fuse. If anyone else has this proble, its a 15A one. When you take the cover off, its the blue one in a line of yellows thats nearest to the windscreen.

Yes yes, I'm a muppet. Thing that confused me was that I only noticed when I plugged my battery charger in and thats been in serveral times with no trouble. It sounds like an easy to blow one.

Something that would be nice is an area on the fuseboard to hold a few spare fuses.
