Which oil filter should I get for my 2006 1.2 fabia? Plenty on eBay but any particular one? Cheers in advance

Stick to a good branded one like Bosch or Mann. Some cheaper ones have less filter material

Mann or ufi are a good choice, they make the OEM filters.

I usually buy genuine ones via ebay.  Not saying others won't work, but you can have a genuine one for £6.90 delivered to your door, so it's not big bucks.

I use Mahle microstar filters on all the vehicles in my care, I consider them to be of OEM+ quality, in fact I use Mahle for any and all filters, the air filters are also of exceptional quality and have significantly more surface area than cheaper pattern products.

As mentioned earlier, you can usually tell a cheaper air filter or oil filter element by how many pleats of paper it has compared to OEM. The only brand I make sure I don't get is Filtron.

They are. A fair bit of genuine VAG stuff is made by Mahle.
