I guess cars in Yorkshire obviously don't get as much interior damage as those north of the border!

 

No, they do... Just nobody ever sticks their hand in their dusty wallet to pay for the repairs. Let the next owner do that... :D

Interesting ... Been to see a local Leather place. Old guy in a Wokshop who has been doing leatherwork all his life. Place full of seats / chairs etc.

 

Really nice bloke. He had a look and said nothing could be done because the cuts have not gone all the way through the hide. He said as long as he hide was fed and kept supple it would not get any worse. He also said as the leather gets more worn it would become less noticeable.

 

Told him about the £250 repair and he just laughed.

What about the half alcantara / half leather seats? Since all the parts you sit on are alcantara does that mean there's no genuine leather, I wonder?
