Hi guys, I've bought an accident damaged Roomster 1.4 diesel 2008. The front air bags are deployed , would this stop the front wipers from working, all the fuses seem to be intact . The washer bottle needs replacing would this need to be connected to enable the wipers to operate. Thanks in advance for any replys.

Does it think the bonnet is open? That will stop the wipers working.

Tried that one Sam , my mate bypassed it . No joy so far.

have you checked fuses on the top of the battery?

 

if the air bags deploy it shuts down all the ignition / engine I believe, so may be linked

Checked them, the engine didn't shut down but the power steering did , that's sorted now via a scanner. Rear wiper works along with everything else on the car just front wipers are refusing. Getting some airbags tomorrow from a vw breakers so will pick their brains.

Also looking for front screen and rear parcel shelf if anybody knows of any.?
