Creaking noise when pulling away

Featured Replies

I've got a FL VRS TSI and have started to get a creaking/groaning noise when starting to pull away or reverse. It only really happens if the car has been standing for a few hours or overnight and disappears after a while.

Could it be the handbrake sticking? Anyone had similar?

Thanks

I've had this , I always thought it was dry  rear suspension bushes, just creaking when starting to move away.

Dry door seals.

As the car sets off the doors move a little and rub on the deals.

Get some of this,,,

I get a creak just after pulling away - it seems to be a sticky handbrake cable. Been 'fixed' several times but still annoys me.

Mine does it too!

Put your foot on top of rear wheel's.and push.

If it creak's it's your rear pad's.

Strip and re grease.

Failing that could be a sticky caliper.
