Controlling rear seat heating from the front?

Featured Replies

I hope the season for using the seat heating is now over, but just out of interest - is there any way to control the rear seat heating from the front?

If you have tri-zone... Just hit "sync" and choose the setting you want for the rear... Then deselect sync and choose the setting(s) you want for the front.

With only dual zone... The driver's side front control dictates the driver's side rear vent... The passenger side front control dictates the passenger side rear vent.

I think the OP is referring to the seat heaters, not the climate control.

There is a kind of convoluted explanation in the manual about the rear seat heaters, from how I understand it, you can't control the heaters from the front, but you can lock the controls out with the rear lock button. If you press the lock button when they're switched on, the seats can only be turned down or off.

Hope that helps!
