Hi all,

I finally picked my car up today 

 

It's a skoda superb 2010 SE

 

However the reason for the delay in my picking it up was the fact the twin door didnt work as a hatch.  I picked the car up supposedly fixed, but I have just tried the hatch and it isnt working still.  It opened once but seemed to stick a bit.  I have just tried it again and nothing. neither button is working.   

 

Can anyone think of a good reason for this? I did wonder if something my need resetting electronically perhaps.

Panic Over,  I hadnt double unlocked the car first oops!!

Use Maxidot to turn the double unlock to single.

 

We don't live in Johannesburg.

Double unlock???? Is that the drivers door unlock only option? Never seen the reason for it on the superb when the option for autolocking is there too.

I havent had chance to play with maxidot yet.  Didnt see too many options at the first look.  I have ordered the

If you have maxidot there's not really anything else the Carista can do that you can't already enable or change via the maxidot. I just have the free app and a reader in case I ever need to do a fault code scan.

In that case, I need a little of play time with the car because I couldnt see that many options on the display but again, I have had the car for a day and was working most of that.

OK, so it doesnt look like this car has maxidot.   There are no rocker switches on the wiper stalk.

Do you get a display like this when the doors are open? This is maxidot.

The maxidot is controlled by the controls on the steering wheel rather than by the stalks.

There is stuff you can do with Christa that you can't with maxidot. Number of flashes on comfort indicators, easy exit entry, fogs for Ch/lh lights for a few

How do I change the double unlock setting?

It should be under setup..... Not sure which sub-category it's in though.... Convenience maybe? The manual gives a full run down of the menu's and sub menus etc....

Press the back key on the MFSW till you get to the list of commands. Then go setup, convenience list and then it's in there iirc.
