All sorted, duff batteries were the culprit .

Cars running and radio lights etc working so thank you to everyone who helped along the way.

Got a new load of dash lights on but I'll sort those over the next couple of weeks and hopefully be back on the road before too long.

  • The juke is a company car so don't want to be messing with it really, was my original plan but it's not worth the trouble. Will cough up the money for a new battery and hopefully that should fix eve

  • Iv tried to post a you a pic but cant seem to do it from my phone.

Try putting the meter directly across the battery terminals and measuring the voltage of the battery. This should read around 12.4 v with the engine off.

Glad ya sorted pal.

The warning lights are normal with a disconnected battery and will clear once you go for a short drive.

You will need Vagcom to sort warning lights like airbags and check engine light, maybe abs or epc will clear on their own.

Did you get for your mot pal ? How did it fair ?

Probably sorting the seized brakes now, before it can be driven. They must be in a state as left uncovered.

Mine were quite rusted and they were covered over well.

So the mot went much better than expected.

Brakes weren't seized and all warning lights went out after a drive, except for the air bag light, that will be sorted this week.

The only other thing it failed on was tyres and had a rear light out.

Nice one. Fingers crossed air bag just needs a reset.

You get this sorted buddy ?
