Installed new speakers sound meh

Featured Replies

I took out my speakers from my old volvo, JBL or something, expensive 5.25" speakers for rear and some crappy marquant speakers for front and they do sound decent from my experience but now it sounds like the bass is broken in rear left when I play music and the others are not even getting any bass.

It's like I have original speakers and If i increase bass on my pioneer stereo it just sounds rubbish like original does, anyone got an idea why?

I cut all the speaker cables and twined + together and earth with earth and then connected to speaker like you're supposed to, i'm gonna try a different set of 5.25 speakers in the rear tomorrow but I doubt it will solve it.

It makes a buzzing sound when bass kicks in and no bass in the non-buzzing speakers for some reason..

Very messy explaination, hoping for someone to shed some light on my issue :p

Could the previous owner have done something ? Noticed there used to be 6x9 speakers in the rear
