I think the problem you're facing is that they can be had for brand new from Germany for ~£485. You might want to match that. Sorry, not trying to be cheeky, just hoping to help you with the sale.

edit: Awesam had the wrong spring part number so I've crossed out the outdated info.

 

Looks like the kit is actually 46-182579 based on E90-79-004-03-22 springs and the above dampers.

- 50mm front struts

- 1100kg front axle load

- 1100kg rear axle load

 

Looks to be correct for 1.2 TSI, 1.6 TDI, 1.9 TDI, 2.0 FSI, 2.0 TDI hatchbacks.

 

Awesam, correct me if I'm wrong but I think the part number for the entire kit is 46-182586 at least based on the part numbers for the dampers (35-113768, 24-178006), springs (E10-79-004-03-22) and a quick google.

If that is correct then this kit is best suited for cars with:
- 50mm front struts
- 1050kg front axle load
- 1150kg rear axle load

Which rules out my TDi hatch.

The buyer should double check but this kit looks to be designed the following cars:

In that case, what I said about the price may not apply, as the ones in Germany are for the 55mm strut.  

 

EDIT: Same price of £475 + postage for 46-182586 in Germany.

no they won't fit as based on the front shock part number in the pic, the bilstein catalogue says they are 50mm which is too small for the VRS as you need 55mm ones
