Car Transporter Recommendation

Featured Replies

After transporting my car from East Yorkshire to Chelmsford via transporter - can anyone recommend a Company?

not possible to drive it and get the train back? Prob be cheaper even with the inflated rail fares that keep Auric in the lifestyle he's become accustomed too :D

When I fetched my vRS from Middlesbrough (500 mile round trip) it was cheaper to take my Landrover and trailer it back than to get the train and drive it! (Train plus fuel would have been nearly £150 - fuel for the Landrover was just over £100)

Use the train please, I'm due a pay rise

I'd say go see the car and bring it home yourself,

I was looking at a car in Enfield, North London and had considered getting it lifted by my mates work, he's a car transporter. Was getting mates rates at £100 bringing it back to Glasgow but decided to go down myself and double check the car, thankfully I did. Dealer described the car as Mint, near showroom condition. It was far from it and I managed to get over £1000 off the screen price due to issues that I had found upon my arrival. I wouldn't have had a leg to stand on if my mate collected it.

Definitely go collect yourself

Not actually picking up a car but returning it to a dealer.
