Sport pedals

I did...but why overpay? :Dhttp://www.aliexpress.com/item/Steel-Transmission-sport-Stainless-Steel-MT-AT-Pedal-For-VW-Golf-7-MK7-GTi-auto-accessories/32218025167.html

As for your question: the break pedal is almost same, as you replace the stock, plastic pad with the metallic one. The gas pedal is getting some thickness, since there is nothing to remove; original pedal has no cover.

Other thing to keep in mind is that metallic pads "catch" the shoe sole more than stock ones; noticeable difference is for gas pedal.

Installation of break pedal cover is a breeze, while other one is a complete btch to work with...I had to make a "hook" tool to attach it.

PS: it's a stainless steel not chrome.

I cannot say if they are the same, but did fit for me (see the remark though).

I'm not sure but I think they had the Skoda codes on them too.

Just say the word and I can take a photo for a proper reference ;)

So these are just rubber with some steel on them?

I guess we would need some rs member to confirm that original RS pedals are the same built.

Do they feel like they are going to last?

I can see this as well but this foot rest I guess requires trim removal for installation and I am too lazy... maybe if I ask the dealer.

It's a molded construction: steel with elastomer.

The footrest thingy - I guess you need to make your own research; there were post on that though and if i remember right and installation did require some effort.

For my taste, the footrest piece is too obtrusive and looks a bit like a piece of kitchenware on the floor ;)

My set is also from China/Aliexpress, I installed them 18 months ago and done almost 100k kms with them.

They are still okay, some rubber is gone from the throttle pedal (less than half of the thickness), but that's all!
