Hi all,

I'm suffering with my left side, hip area, something I've put up with for many years. Some seats/ seating positions aggravate it. I've had my fabia 1.9sdi about a week now, my dad gave it me and I want to keep it but I'm struggling with my leg. I'm hoping that adjusting the seat height may help, but the riser lever isn't altering the right up or down, the lever is moving, but the seat not adjusting.

I've had a look under, but not too sure what's what. Any advice appreciated.

Loads of second hand seats about and for basic trim would probably be peanuts or free. The height adjuster is part of the seat base.

Had a look underneath, adjuster spins, but nothing seems to happen.

Is it straight foward enough to remove seat, do you have to remove rails?

Just four XZN (12 point) 10mm bolts in the seat runners to car floor.
