Looking at the label on the petrol cap I find it a tad confusing. I run 195 R55 on 15" rims. From the info I have understood 2.2 bar all round is OK for 4 people with no luggage (I use bars not psi). From the graphics with 5 people and 4 suitcases the info says 2.3 bar but alternative info says 3.2 bar with the same graphics. Am I right that if I load the roomie with 4 people and 4 suitcases for a continental road trip I should inflate the tyres to 3.2 bar all round?

I understood that the variable pressures were for rears only? 

 

Loaded to the gunwales with camping gear and the bodywork on the rear wheels on 15's I ran 32psi front 38psi rear and it was very comfortable

Is the first column front pressures and the second column rear tyre pressures?

3.2 bars is 46 psi!!

It should be 2.3 for the front and 3.2 for the rears the way I read it for full load at motorway speeds.

Yeah, 3.2 rear for fully loaded.

I have factory fitted Hankook Optimas. On the tyre it states maximum pressure is 51psi and 3.2 bar works out at 46psi. That is rather near the limit of the tyre.
