New to the forum so apologies if I missed anything that is normally required.

 

We are in the process of buying a new Octavia vRS Estate and are currently reviewing the options to be added.

 

The variable boot floor is of interest due to the additional storage space for thing such as dog leads/bowls boots etc. however we are struggling to find a divider that fits with it.

 

With our other car (Audi A3 Sportback) we have used Travall and we really like the quality of their products and they are a relatively good price.

 

So does anybody know if we can use a dog divider with the variable boot floor? Or is it not worth getting the variable boot floor in the first place?

I have a variable boot floor and make good use of it. The benefits as I see them:

1. Segregated storage, all my maintenance nicknacks, walking gear spend roof bars are tucked away out of sight and harm.

2. You get a much more robust floor than the standard boot floor, which is pretty thin and feeble.

3. You have quick access to the stuff that is under the variable boot floor.

It would be great for keeping anything chewable (i.e. Everything) out if reach your dogs, but if you have to install a dog divider then you'd loose that easy access to the stuff stored under the boot floor.

Thanks for the advice, i suppose we didn't think of the obvious, that even if a boot divider did fit it would render the lower compartment useless!

 

I suppose that cements the choice for us!
