As my Octavia is getting on a little now (9 years), the cost of main dealer labour rates feels very high. So, I'm wondering if anyone knows of a reliable independent in the Exeter area that they'd be happy to recommend.

Hi Stuart, I'm not too far from Exeter myself although I get all my work on my car done in ilminster by AM Cars. I highly recommend their work.

I know that's quite a trek from Exeter but out of the three you mentioned above I've only heard of volks craft. I can't personally vouch for there work but I've read a few good thing about them on other forums.
