If you do that on a car set for variable servicing it will reset it to fixed.

The only way to reset a variable service light is with VCDS/dealer diag equipment.

ahhh *******s :( never mind... its has been serviced approx 17k for 160k now..... I'll count the mileage, or do it at 10 k! lol.... just would have been nice to get the variable stuff monitoring things,....

 

my soonest VCDS is at the lakes camping do... (bring your laptop Jason!)

 

If i set it up again then , will it start from scratch, assuming the oil has just been changed... and decide on oil temps length of drive ect .....  or can it actually analyze the oil?!
