What does this halogen bulb do? Cant say Ive ever noticed it.

I dont think it is halogen, its only what we in Norway know as "parklys".

Parking light - dont you ever use them in UK?

A 501 capless bulb coloured blue bulb.

Have no idea. One should think that the led strip would work as parking lights...
