I'll try to decipher that. Unless you have an import your 1.8 TSi is a Superb II as the 1.8 Superb III is not available as a UK spec.

The 2.0 TSi Mk.III, 220 PS and 280 PS, both use the 6 speed wet clutch DSG box. These do not suffer the issues related to the 7 speed dry clutch DSG as fitted in the Superb II 1.8 TSi.

If you have deciphered that correctly then you are the God of deciphering ...

It made perfect sense after the third beer... but I'll be blowed if I understand my answer!!!

1.8 TSI actually is offered on some markets in SIII. In case of DSG version, it's torque is limited (max. is the same as 1.4TSI version) because its using 7 speed dry clutch DSG, so I guess no special modifications were done to the gearbox. I'm not sure how much sense it makes to have a 1.8TSI with DSG in case of SIII. With manual gearbox it's another story....

Very funny, actually on my table offer for: Škoda Superb Combi Style 1.8 TSI / 132 kW (180 AG) DSG. I double checked- true, there is no such option on UK market. Sorry for bothering you.
